Economic sanctions against Russia: expectations and reality

Abstract

The article analyzes the political reasons for the imposition of economic sanctions against Russia and the consequences of the Russian embargo to report on them. The main purpose of the article - to show how justified the expectations that were associated with the introduction of sanctions against Russia kontrsanktsy and how they impact on the micro and macro level. Naturally, they could not help but reflect on the position of the ordinary consumer and the position of banks, firms, investments and the dynamics of economic growth. Kontrsanktsii led to the restriction of imports of consumer goods, so the article is based on import substitution - trade balances of consumer goods in Q3 2015 compared to Q3 2014 The dynamics of prices for electronic goods, automobiles and real estate. The economic crisis has hit the tourism. The cost of traveling abroad for Russians increased by 50% or more. Changed the main streams - greatly increased domestic tourism in general, and in southern Russia in particular. However, he also made the Russian attractive for foreign tourists. As a result of significantly increased tourism from Asian countries.
