Abstract
The article presents the results of applying the elements of the object security research methodology in the study of one of the threats hanging over society — pandemic COVID‑19. In this particular object, the author of the article tried to show the general, inherent in the collective concept of “a national security threat”. Knowledge of a common for all threats (the general) characteristics and particular one to each of them allows us to organise the protection of the object better, prepare to stop the threat and eliminate the consequences of its emergence. Based on the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation official data, the author shows a deterioration of the state of public health and science in modern Russia. The article also presents a mathematical model, used by the author to calculate the results of two ways to slow the spread of coronavirus infection. The first way is the isolation of citizens, second — the use of personal protective equipment. In particular, the conducted research confirmed two well-known theoretical statements. First, in studying the process of emergence of threats and in estimating the damage caused by them, it is advisable to rely on the results of model calculations. Second, when choosing counteraction measures, it is reasonable to search for the best combination of them.

Abstract
The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need and the possibility of improving the quality of working life in Russia as one of the main factors in the growth of the well-being of the working population. The author examined the influence of the conditions of employment of the workforce in the process of its reproduction and proved that the wage index (among all components of the quality of working life) has particular importance. The author also presented the tools of expert assessment of the quality of working life from the point of view of the achieved level of wages. Using these tools the author compiled a generalised characteristic of the current state of the quality of working life in Russia according to four criteria in terms of the achieved level of wages necessary to perform the reproductive function. Comparative analysis of the dynamics of nominal and real wages in the Russian economy for the years 2000–2018 showed a significant, long-term lag between growth of real and nominal wages. Further, the author showed the profile of Russian poverty concerning the main components of the quality of working life and presented the social and economic consequences of not decreasing poverty. Finally, the author constructs a set of socio-economic indicators of the standard of living of the working population due to the low level of satisfaction of the needs of workers and their families in nutrition, education, health, related to the deficit of family budgets. It makes possible to choose the main directions of the formation and implementation of the state and corporate social policy to overcome the negative trends in the level and quality of life of the working population associated with low quality of working life.

Abstract
Difficult geopolitical circumstances and natural resources scarcity laid down the vector of science and technology development of Israel. The only “natural resource” that was and still is in plenty — high-qualified human resource. As for today, Israel takes the first place in the world having its state support of public R&D as a per cent of GDP (4.5 per cent), the number of startup companies concerning population and quantity of researchers. Russia is interested in Israeli experience in the formation of a national innovation system (NIS) because of the same high state influence on the economics in this country. Powers of the state in Israel through the agency of the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) stimulate a wide variety of applied R&D and upon that do not prescribe the market how to develop but use targeted funding and state programs to reward the development of priority branches. In Russia, as opposed to Israel, the powers of state aim to play a vital role in chosen market segments, therefore suppressing the development of small enterprises. If in Israeli innovation economics the central place is occupied by the startup companies, in Russia, in the opposite, at the innovation market dominate the massive state-owned enterprises, restraining innovation processes that shift into low gear without business initiative. Israeli experience can be used in such innovation economics’ sectors as state support of innovations; technology transfer organization; commercialization of technologies, elaborated in Research and Development Establishment and universities; formation of international scientific and technological cooperation system; using of dual technologies; training of innovation managers.

Abstract
The development of the EAEU takes place in the context of the formation of a new system of world economic relations and the transformation of the rules of world trade. Further areas of multilateral cooperation between states and regional integration associations are emerging (including the digital economy, cryptocurrencies). As a consequence of the aggressive foreign policy of economically developed countries, the regionalization of trade and economic ties is gaining popularity, which makes it urgent to reformat trade relations with regional integration associations. Along with this, the primary integration effect associated with the opening of national markets and the simplification of trade rules, which manifested itself at the first stages of the formation of the customs union and the single economic space (CES), is being exhausted. The volumes of mutual trade of the member states are changing, but its share in the capacity of the common market of the EAEU remains virtually unchanged from year to year. The further growth of trade and economic ties within the EAEU is mainly due to the removal of existing obstacles and the qualitative improvement of the conditions for doing cross-border business. Various negative phenomena distort the integration agenda and substantially neutralize the positive effects of integration. The reasons noted above make the task of a comprehensive study of the economic and geopolitical factors of the integration of member states and new challenges to the integration processes urgent. To develop approaches to strategic planning for the development of the EAEU, adequate assessments of the use of the integration potential of the member states should be made and areas with the most significant reserves for building up integration cooperation should be identified. The full involvement of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan in the orbit of the Eurasian economic integration, as well as severe changes in the external economic situation that have occurred in recent years, require the actualization of possible scenarios for the development of the Eurasian Economic Union and the development of new tactics for the response of the EAEU and the Union member states to newly emerging factors and challenges affecting on integration processes.

Abstract
In the post-industrial period, which began in developed countries in the 1970s–1980s, the processes of globalization and competition in world markets came to the fore. As a result of the intensive development of industry and the growth of domestic consumption, many countries have largely exhausted the economic capacity of their territories. They are experiencing a shortage of raw materials. Over the past sixty years, the world’s leading countries have been implementing a socio-ecological and economic model of social development, which allows them to use financial, labour and natural resources rationally. Russia’s transition to sustainable development can give an additional impetus to the country’s socio-economic development. It also ensures breakthrough scientific and technological progress, increases the competitiveness of the national economy, creates other opportunities for more effective implementation of strategic planning documents and national projects.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the development of indicators of the quality of economic growth. The authors associate the primary practical purpose of the system of indicators of the quality of economic growth with improving information and scientific and methodological support for the process of developing and implementing decisions of the state’s economic policy. We considered methodological aspects of compiling a system of indicators of the quality of economic growth, described problems in this area, and proposed approaches to their solution. Further, we gave estimates of factors that determine the dynamics of economic growth. We have provided a special place to the discussion of controversial issues in the field of assessing the quality of economic growth, including the problem of reconciling the idea of inclusive development and endogenous growth model of the Russian economy. It also includes approaches to the innovative factor in development outcomes that reflect the regional dimension in the system of quality indicators of economic development. The authors present and justify their views on several controversial issues, continuing the discussion of this topic that began in the framework of the Efimov Readings II (2019).
